The thoughts of a braider need to be studied because why are we planning our entire lives, questioning our career choices AND admiring the style all at the same time?? 😂

A gel that doesn’t flake, turn white AND actually holds the hair in place 🙌🏾🤏🏾 because sometimes it really isn’t your technique… it’s the products you’re trying to work with.
You can know how to tuck, grip and smooth all day, but if your product starts lifting before you even finish the braid, has you applying layer after layer just to get some hold, or leaves that white residue once it dries… you’re working harder than you need to. 😭
The right products make SUCH a difference in your finished work. Clean parts are one thing, but I need that hair laid, tucked and staying where I put it. 😂
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that getting better at your craft isn’t always about learning another technique. Sometimes you need to change what’s sitting on your station.
And y’all know I don’t gatekeep the products that actually work for me. 🤭
