We're all still recovering from the loss of Fun Spot and ArieForce One, but did you know another roller coaster just opened last week in the Atlanta area? "Spinning Coaster" at Thrillz Indoor Adventure Amusement Park is a brand new SBF Visa spinner. Located in Doraville near spaghetti junction. Rides are $10, or included in all-access passes.

Took the chance during the morning ACE Southeast event to get some up-close pics of the ride. We do not know its ultimate fate, but I sincerely hope she’s not ready to go yet …

Hard to believe that kids return to school in just a couple of weeks. Which means that fair season won't be too far behind. Feast your eyes on the 2026 North Georgia State Fair brochure and map. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the midway debut of the Schwarzkopf Wildcat coaster, too!
BREAKING NEWS - Kumba, the first B&M sit-down coaster and still one of the best in the state of Florida, will take one last roar on August 2, the same day that ArieForce One will close. While it's sad to see this ride disappear, Busch Gardens also dropped a hint of its replacement: Kumba's Revenge, a $100mil investment.

Atlanta's western suburbs got walloped by some pretty good storms Sunday evening, and Six Flags was no exception. A tree went down near Mind Bender (adjacent to the former pet kennel building) and onto the pedestrian walkway to the parking lot. Unfortunately a few guests were injured in the collapse and are being treated at nearby hospitals.
Two Six Flags Over Georgia visitors were seriously hurt, authorities said.
