The same thing that attracted people to you becomes the very thing they start hating you for. Your authenticity. The way you don’t have to pretend to be somebody you’re not. The way you speak your mind. Your balanced yin and yang energy. The way people naturally love and support you. Your creativity. Your aura. At first they latch on because they’re drawn to it, then the admiration turns weird because deep down they wish they had what comes naturally to you. That’s when the copying, competition and hidden hate starts…. I know this from personal experience.

A lot of jobs are paying $15–$21 an hour.

Working 40 hours a week, that’s roughly:

💰 $15/hr = $2,600/month BEFORE taxes
💰 $18/hr = $3,120/month BEFORE taxes
💰 $21/hr = $3,640/month BEFORE taxes

Now somebody PLEASE explain how one person is supposed to pay:

🏠 Rent: $1,000–$1,900
🚗 Car payment: $400–$900
💡 Utilities/household bills: $400–$700
⛽️ Gas: $75/week = about $325/month
🛒 Groceries: $800/month
🧻 Toiletries, clothes & miscellaneous: $300–$500

That’s approximately $3,225–$5,125 EVERY MONTH.

And remember… your paycheck still has TAXES coming out! 😭

We haven’t added:
Childcare.
Car insurance.
Health insurance.
Debt.
Emergency expenses.
Savings.
Haircuts.
School expenses.
A flat tire.
A doctor visit.
Or God forbid you want to actually ENJOY LIFE. 😂

So when people say, “Just budget better,” I need them to understand that sometimes there isn’t a budgeting problem.

THERE’S AN INCOME-TO-COST-OF-LIVING PROBLEM.

Because how are people supposed to “save for a rainy day” when it’s raining EVERY PAYDAY?! 😩😂
