One thing entrepreneurship has taught me is just how important your village and community truly are.
Over the years, Cornrows & Cornbread has become such a safe place for me—a space where I’ve discovered so much about myself simply by being in rooms with people I admire, people who are successful, and people who continue to inspire me to grow.
Being in these rooms taught me that I can still be myself and remain authentic while learning how to network, build meaningful relationships, collaborate, and understand just how powerful collaboration really is.
And when you meet these people year after year, something beautiful happens. You begin to learn each other, laugh with each other, grow with each other, promote each other, and genuinely root for one another.
It’s the sweetest thing knowing that you have a supportive village. 🤎

You have to be DELUSIONAL
To ensure my dreams came true I had to be completely insane. I had to take huge risks. I had to balance the perfect mixture of patience and endurance.
This is proof of EX*****ON ✨
To grab a thought from the ethers and turn it into a tangible product took Guts & GRIT. I had to fight for it , I’m willing to die behind it. That’s how much Davis Beauty Solutions means to me.
Since 2013, I’ve been determined and faithful. I didn’t realize I was making history until 2022. Here we are in February of 2026 and I realize I’m JUST getting started.
