I talk a lot about community-how we build it, nurture it, and show up for one another. But community can’t only mean the people in our immediate circle. It also means giving back to the greater community we’re a part of.
Today, that looked like rolling up our sleeves and showing up to support a friend Outstanding Lady W/ Attitude™🇳🇬 as she hosted Senior Bingo for the City of Atlanta. Just being present, being useful, and helping create a little joy for people who deserve to feel seen and celebrated.
And there’s something beautiful about friendship that extends beyond brunches, birthdays, trips. Good friendship can become service.
That’s community.
That’s friendship. ❤️

What kind of friend are you really? 👀
🩷Are you the Anchor—the dependable one everyone leans on?
🩷The Deep Diver who craves meaningful connection?
🩷The Connector who brings everyone together?
🩷The Space Keeper who understands that closeness doesn’t require constant access?
🩷Or the Self-Contained Friend who values connection AND independence?
Our Friendship Audit™ Guide was created to help you look a little deeper at how you show up in friendship, not just what you expect from everyone else.
Inside, you’ll find 50 guided questions, reflections, and takeaways designed to help you identify your friendship style, understand your strengths, recognize your blind spots, and become more intentional about the relationships you’re building.

We talk a lot about love bombing in dating, but it can happen in friendship too.
And sometimes, it doesn’t look dangerous at first.
It looks like:
“You’re my sister already.”
“Where have you been all my life?”
Constant calls and texts.
Immediate trips, plans, gifts and big declarations.
An expectation of closeness that usually takes years to build.
The tricky part is that fast connection is not automatically unhealthy. Some friendships really do click quickly.
The question is whether the relationship can still function when the intensity slows down.
Kinda chic to be a part of a community 💅🏾

We need to talk 😩
Girls trips seem to have been getting the best of friend groups for years. But we’re putting an end to it-NOT ON OUR WATCH! Iyanla Vanzant voice 🤭
✈️Talk about the full budget before booking. Not just flights and hotel — meals, excursions, transportation, outfits, tipping, all of it.
✈️Choose compatible travelers, not just close friends. Your best friend may not be your best travel friend.
Agree on the vibe before the destination. Relaxing? Partying? Luxury? Exploring? Everybody can’t be expecting a different vacation.
✈️Normalize alone time. Togetherness does not mean 24-hour access.
✈️Divide the planning. One woman should not be carrying the entire trip while everybody else just shows up.
✈️Handle expense and cancellation rules early. Money resentment can wreck a friendship quickly.
Respect time. Constant lateness becomes a much bigger issue when reservations, flights, and other people’s money are involved.
✈️Talk about social media boundaries. Not everybody wants every moment recorded or posted.
Address tension while it’s still small. A five-minute conversation can save a five-day trip.
✈️Give people grace without abandoning standards. Travel can make people tired, overstimulated, hungry, anxious, or irritable. Every bad moment doesn’t require a friendship breakup.
