As a seasoned lash tech of 5 years, I’ve learned that it’s dire to have more than one type of glue on hand. Everyone’s eyes and skin cannot withstand the same products as the next person, even if they’ve been getting their lashes done for years. I invested in a clear sensitive glue for my clients that experience red and burning eyes after getting lashes and it has completely changed the game for my clients and myself!
Clear glue is a better option for sensitive eyes because it lacks cyanoacrylate, which is a fast-acting adhesive that can be used for multiple kinds of applications. Although the retention time can be cut in half compared to a standard lash glue, it’s worth it for the clients who experience the red and burning eyes after receiving lashes extensions.
