While I am sad to be leaving my Sunsetters chapter behind; the last 17 years have been so blessed; I am ecstatic to start this next chapter.

I disappeared for a minute there.

We packed up and went to the mountains.
No makeup
No curling iron or blow dryer
No screens

Lots of hikes
Fuzzy socks
Watercolor painting
Coffee outside in 45 degree weather
Long talks under a sky full of stars

My soul feels recharged and centered. ⛰ 🌻🌼🌸🍄🌿🐿

It’s time to stock up!

I’m making an effort to shift my focus today.

These last couple weeks have felt uncertain and heavy. I think I have spent my energy focusing on that more than I should.

Today, I will give my energy to the things that bring me joy.
• journaling
• less social media time
• reading
• snuggling the kids
• playing with the dogs

What things help you to reset your focus?

Last week we hit the road and canvased neighborhoods for our favorite county commission candidate, Casey Quinn.
Teaching our kids the importance of voting and local government is so important.
And, we are lucky to have such amazing female role models in their lives that put themselves in the arena and stand up for our community.
Don’t forget to vote August 4th. Better yet get out and vote early!
