"Will it actually work?"
Fair question, and the honest answer has two halves.
First: we only offer treatments we've bought for ourselves first. If we didn't believe in it, it wouldn't be in the building.
Second, and this is the part that matters more — expectations. Collagen takes roughly 90 to 120 days to show what it's doing. Prep matters. Aftercare matters. We'll track your progress with you rather than sending you off and hoping.
Anything promising you overnight isn't being straight with you.

Your first visit, start to finish.
You'll be offered something to drink, so come thirsty. Then it's mostly just talking — what's been bothering you, what you've tried, what you'd actually like to change.
We'll do a skin scan so we're looking at real images of your skin rather than guessing, and build a plan around what it shows. Sometimes there's a quick treatment if there's time. Often there isn't, and that's fine.
No pressure, and nothing happens that you haven't agreed to.

"Is it going to hurt?"
It's the question we get more than any other, so here's the honest answer: it depends on the laser, and we have a lot of ways to make it easier.
Strong topical numbing, on for about half an hour — longer, and sent home with you, for the bigger treatments. Pro-Nox if you want it, which takes the edge off and makes most people a little giggly. Ice. A vibrating tool for distraction.
And our jokes, whether you want them or not.

Five questions worth asking at any consult. Including ours.
A good provider will have an answer for every one of these, and won't be irritated that you asked. If the answers feel rehearsed or rushed, that tells you something useful.
We'd rather you came in with a list than left with a treatment you didn't understand. Consultations at Illume are paid and credited toward your treatment, so the time is genuinely yours to use.

Microneedling, without the overselling.

Under-eye work that isn't filler.
PRF starts with your own blood. We spin it down, take the platelet-rich portion, and place it where the skin is thinnest — the area that gives you away when you're tired.
