I’m missing this mare extra hard with foaling season approaching our herd. She was a fabulous mount, and an even better momma later in life.

The cost of replacing riding boots always grinds on me. I do a couple of things to make sure my boots last several years.

1) I never take them in the wash rack
2) They never see mud
3) I wash and condition them often

Too many times I’ve burned through a pair of boots in a year or less. This pair has seen the best care and the proof is in the fact that I’ve had them for three or four years now.
