✨ ADDING K-TIP EXTENSIONS TO MY SKILL SET! ✨

Today in class, I got to learn more about K-tip extensions! 🤎 K-tip extensions aren’t a service RCC currently offers to clients on the salon floor which makes learning new techniques for out in the salon even more exciting!

I graduate in December, and I would LOVE to add K-tip extensions to my future service menu! 👀✨ I’m will always be looking for ways to expand my skills, continue my education, and bring more options to my future clients. 😌

❓K-tip extensions are individual strands of hair attached to your natural hair using a small, keratin-based bond activated with heat. They’re customized to blend seamlessly with your hair, adding length, volume, or both for a natural-looking result!

One of my favorite clients came back to see me today for a peekaboo retouch, and we decided to take her cooler than we did last time! ✨

When she came in a few months ago for the first time, she had quite a bit of dimension throughout her peekaboo, so we worked on evening everything out as much as possible and creating a more cohesive tone. Today we first toned with Matrix Super Sync 8P + 8V + 10A, but it didn’t take quite the way we wanted, so we went back in with Redken Shades EQ 9M + 8GI to fine-tune the tone.

And we ended up with this beautiful, cooler finish! 🤎✨

I’ll see her again in December for her next refresh! 😉✂️

Got to spend the day behind the chair with my bestie Jenna Bingham Loflin at school! She needed a change so I got work. We used a foilyage technique with slices on the sides, weaves throughout the middle, and subtle money pieces for a soft, blended look. 🤎

We lifted with Schwarzkopf Professional BLONDME for a beautiful, even lift and finished with Redken Shades EQ 8HC + 8GI for that warm, creamy fall blonde. ✨
