Have you met Brittany yet?

If youโ€™ve ever wished your massage therapist actually understood how your muscles work during a workout or long day at a desk, youโ€™re going to love her!

She spent over eight years as a personal trainer before becoming a massage therapist, so she really understands how the body moves and where it gets stuck.

From stubborn shoulder knots and post-workout soreness to that heavy, general stress we all carry around, her sessions are built entirely around what your body needs that day.

Swipe through to get to know her a bit better (and read why our clients are already raving about her!).

Need a real pause button this weekend? ๐ŸŒฟ

Dante Baker is leading a Sound Bath for Healing here at The Teal Center this Saturday, August 15th at 11:00 am, and weโ€™d love to have you join us!

If youโ€™ve never been to a sound bath, itโ€™s honestly one of the most effortless ways to rest. You literally just lie back, get comfortable, and let the instruments do all the work.

Dante brings such a beautiful blend of wooden flutes, pan drums, and Yantra drums that help melt away whatever stress youโ€™ve been carrying around all week.

If youโ€™ve experienced one of Danteโ€™s sessions before, you already know how good that deep reset feels.

Many of us spend our weeks in a bit of a rush, usually hunched over a laptop or a steering wheel. (or both!) By the time Friday comes around, our shoulders are up to our ears and our focus is shot.

This weekend at The Teal Center, weโ€™re hosting Dante Baker for a session thatโ€™s essentially "maintenance" for your whole body.

Dante blends Tai Chi (slow, flowing movement) with Qigong (gentle stretching and breathing). Itโ€™s often called "moving meditation," but really, it just feels like a very intentional way to loosen up your hips, back, and mind.

๐–๐ก๐ฒ ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž?

Itโ€™s low impact: No sweating or straining. Itโ€™s about ease and coordination.

Better sleep: Most people find that the focused breathing helps them finally "turn off" at night.

Real-world balance: If youโ€™ve felt a bit unsteady or stiff lately, these movements help stabilize your legs and spine.

Dante has been teaching this for over a decade and has a very grounded, practical way of explaining things.

Hope to see you Saturday!

Who takes care of the people who take care of everyone else? ๐Ÿค

We got to be part of the answer this week.

Our massage therapistsย Jen Finneganย andย Deanna Pinedaย and acupuncturistย Amanda Nguyenย spent the afternoon atย Arlington Free Clinic, providing free massage and Tui Na therapy for their incredible staff during their appreciation event.

You donโ€™t have to move fast to get stronger.

You donโ€™t have to push hard to find balance. And you definitely donโ€™t have to be flexible to start.

Qigong and Tai Chi are two of the oldest movement practices on the planet and thereโ€™s a reason theyโ€™ve lasted thousands of years.

They work.

Starting April 25, Dante Baker is leading a 4-week Saturday morning series at The Teal Center that blends Yang 24 Tai Chi and Eight Brocades Qigong into one gentle, grounding experience.

The effort is light to moderate. The focus is ease, not strain.

And the benefits โ€” better balance, less stress, deeper sleep, a body that actually feels good to live in โ€” build with every session.

All levels welcome. No experience needed.
