Why a SAUNA HAT

A small accessory that can make a big difference in your sauna experience.

Protects your head — Helps shield your scalp from intense heat.
Helps protect your hair — Reduces direct heat exposure that can leave hair feeling dry.
Adds comfort — A sauna hat can help make high temperatures feel more manageable.

Look for sauna hats made from natural, heat-appropriate materials such as thick wool. Avoid synthetic fabrics that may not be designed for prolonged exposure to high sauna temperatures.

Because in a sauna, what surrounds you matters — from the wood to what you wear.

Heat well. Sauna well.

The HUUM DROP is designed around a generous stone capacity, creating a substantial thermal mass that changes the entire experience.

More stone means more stored heat, more control when adding water, and a softer, more enveloping heat that feels less aggressive on the body.

It’s the difference between simply heating a room and creating an experience.

In a luxury home, the details you can’t always see are often the ones you feel the most.

On The Rocks! One ladle of water at a time.
Pour slowly over the stones, allowing the heat to transform the water into steam. Let the sauna breathe, enjoy the wave of heat, and repeat as desired.

It’s not about flooding the rocks—it’s about creating the perfect moment of heat, steam, and relaxation.

Respect the stones. Respect the heat. Enjoy the löyly.

After traveling for the past two weeks, I started noticing something I hadn’t really thought about before—cedar has stood the test of time.

From cathedrals built hundreds of years ago to historic temples, homes, and structures around the world, cedar has been trusted for generations to build things meant to last.

Seeing these structures in person made me appreciate the material we choose for our saunas on a whole new level.

There’s something special about building with a wood that has been used for centuries—not just because it’s beautiful, but because it endures.

When we build a sauna, we’re not just choosing a beautiful wood.

We’re choosing a material with history, character, and staying power.

Cedar has been standing for centuries. We think that says something.

As sauna builders, we know the importance of heat-rated, premium materials. From the wood to the insulation, lighting, and finishes—every detail matters.

The deeper I dive into the sauna experience, the more I’m reminded that what you wear matters, too.

In high heat, choosing natural fibers over synthetic fabrics is a simple way to be more intentional about your sauna ritual.

Our go-to:
• Cotton
• H**p
• Merino wool

Natural fibers. Thoughtful materials. A better sauna experience.

Now is the time to make yours.

Sauna Cleaning & Maintenance

DAILY — for a regularly used home sauna
1. Wipe sweat off
2. Keep the door open to air out
3. Dry

WEEKLY — for a regularly used home sauna
* Sweep/vacuum floor.
* Wipe benches and lower wall areas with warm water.
* Clean floor and areas where dirt accumulates.
* Inspect for staining, discoloration, cracks or splinters.

EVERY FEW MONTHS
* Thoroughly clean benches, walls and floor.
* Address stains.
* Lightly sand problem areas if appropriate rather than aggressively scrubbing untreated wood.

ANNUALLY
* More comprehensive inspection and maintenance of the sauna and heater.

What I would NOT recommend

Wellness doesn’t always have to mean another appointment, another supplement, or another thing on your to-do list.

Sometimes, it’s simply making time to slow down.

A sauna can become a ritual—heat, stillness, deep breathing, and a few quiet minutes to reset.

The goal isn’t just to have a sauna.
It’s to make sauna a regular part of how you care for yourself.

Heat. Sweat. Breathe. Reset. Repeat.

Your wellness routine, elevated
