Self-Care Over Everything
Helping families strengthen emotional literacy and remove barriers to healing before crisis occurs. Creator of The Feelings Map™.
Supporting parents, schools, and caregivers with tools for emotional and financial wellness. Consulting, Mental Health Support
Teachers, open enrollment is HEREEE!!!—and before you start clicking through benefit options, I want you to pause and ask yourself the right questions.
Not just:
“Which plan costs the least?”
But also:
“What support do I need to protect my mental, emotional, and financial well-being this school year?”
Your benefits are more than deductions from your paycheck. They may affect how easily you can access therapy, manage prescriptions, handle unexpected medical costs, protect your income, and support your family.
Open enrollment decisions should reflect your real life—not just what looks affordable on the first screen.
Before you enroll, take time to consider:
What mental health services are included in my plan?
What care do I regularly use?
What support might I need this year?
What would happen financially if I became sick or could not work?
Does this plan support both my physical and mental health needs?
Ask the questions now—before you need the coverage later.
Have questions or need help knowing what to look for? Send me a message with the words “OPEN ENROLLMENT,” and let’s make sure you’re asking the right questions before you choose.
Self-care isn’t always about slowing down. Sometimes it’s about preparing before life gets heavy.
At Self-Care Over Everything, I help families take a proactive approach to mental health and emotional wellness through education, benefits awareness, and family protection planning.
My goal is to help people better understand the support they already have, identify potential gaps, and ask important questions before they’re in crisis.
If you’re ready to start that conversation, I’d love to help.

I’ve been a little quiet… and intentional.
Self-Care Over Everything has always been rooted in emotional wellness and reducing barriers to therapy.
But as I’ve continued to grow—both personally and professionally—something became very clear…
Healing doesn’t happen in isolation.
And one of the biggest barriers to healing isn’t therapy—it’s everything around it.
So I’ve expanded—but more importantly, I’m stepping more fully into who I’ve already been.
I’m now leaning more into my role as a therapy and mental health liaison—helping families understand how their coverage, finances, and protection all play a role in their ability to access care.
This is the next evolution of the brand.
If this resonates with you, comment “FOUNDER” and I’ll share more.

Winter can feel long — especially when emotions start to feel heavy.
One simple way families can support mental wellness is through gratitude journaling. Taking a few minutes to name what went well or what you’re thankful for helps build emotional awareness and resilience over time.
For kids, this can look like drawing, writing one sentence, or sharing one good moment from the day. For adults, it might be a quiet reflection before bed.
Small, consistent habits like this help shift focus toward what’s steady and supportive — even when days feel gray.
Strengthening families through emotional literacy. 🖤
