The future of esthetics is in good hands!

I had the pleasure of introducing the future estheticians at North Texas Central College to Hale & Hush and sharing knowledge, industry insight, and a little of what I’ve learned along the way.

Being able to educate, mentor, and pour into the next generation of skincare professionals is a privilege I don’t take lightly.

And honestly, work is a little sweeter when you love what you do and believe in the brands you represent. 🧡

Wellness is more than what you put on your skin.
This week, we’re focusing on one of my favorite wellness pillars: MOVEMENT. 🏃🏽‍♀️

Walking, lifting weights, swimming, cycling, yoga—even dancing around your house—can support your heart, strengthen your muscles and bones, improve mood and energy, support healthy weight management, improve sleep…and yes, contribute to that healthy glow from the inside out. ✨

Personally? Give me Bootcamp, HIIT, some heavy weights, Trap music and I’m a happy girl! 😂 But the best form of movement is the one you’ll actually enjoy and do consistently.

As an Oncology Skincare Specialist, prevention is something I take seriously. We can’t control every health outcome, but many cancer risk factors are modifiable. The American Cancer Society estimates that 44% of cancer deaths in the U.S. could potentially be prevented by addressing factors we can change, including physical inactivity, excess body weight, unhealthy diet, alcohol use, to***co exposure, and more.

Nearly 19 years married this October, and we’re still choosing to invest in us. ❤️

This weekend, we attended the Made to Last Couples Conference at Concord Church, and once again, I’m reminded just how blessed we are to have the best church, pastor Bryan L. Carter and First Lady Stephanie Sadberry Carter in the city.

Marriage is a covenant, and one we never want to take for granted. The transparency, wisdom, and vulnerability shared by the couples and leaders gave us so much to reflect on. They reminded us that a strong marriage isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about continuing to keep God first, grow , communicate, forgive, laugh, and intentionally choose each other.

And Friday night? Phenomenal. A beautiful date night with incredible performances by Major and a candlelight concert featuring the music of Lauryn Hill. 🕯️🎶
And the sweetest full-circle moment… our first dance was to “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” by Lauryn Hill. 🥹
Nearly 19 years later… and I still can’t take my eyes off him. ❤️
