Is spray tanning safe during pregnancy? Your local pregnant spray tan artist weighing in on this FAQ! 🤰🏻
Short answer: yes, but always get your doctor’s approval before doing so.
A common myth is that the spray tan solution will enter your bloodstream and harm your baby, but there are no credible studies to back that up. DHA does NOT pe*****te deeper than the outermost layer of your skin.
The main concern is breathing in the solution. Responsible spray tan artists provide expecting clients:
Good ventilation ✅
Overspray-reducing extraction units ( is the best in the biz!) or extraction fans during mobile appointments ✅
Nose filters ✅
