If your hair has been feeling a little too light, washed out, or you’re just in the mood for a change, going a shade or two darker can be the perfect way to switch things up and bring a little more depth back into your color.

I popped in a few highlights to break up the regrowth at her root, but kept most of her natural color for a soft, shadowed effect without actually adding a shadow root. Then we toned everything down a shade to bring her blonde back to a softer, more natural tone.

Not every hair transformation needs to be lighter. Sometimes the best change is simply finding the right tone. ✨

Wet balayage is a subtle lightening technique done on damp hair. It can help remove anything sitting on top of the hair that’s dulling the brightness, bringing back that beautiful brightness that was once there or bump the level up one more for an extra pop of brightness.

Teddy Bear Bronde 🧸

Back to her natural but BETTER. I shifted her grown out blonde to a rich teddy bear bronde using a custom gloss at the shampoo bowl. This technique keeps depth and dimension while maintaining the softness and movement that can get lost with an all over color.

The result is a completely different look in under an hour. As the gloss gradually fades, her blonde will softly re-emerge, giving her flexibility to stay brunette or transition back to lighter tones. When she’s ready for a refresh, another custom gloss is all it takes to bring the richness back 🤎

This was such a fun way to change up pipers normal highlight appointment! We touched up her roots and glossed her with a light golden copper.
