Mature skin, wrinkles, hooded eyes, and freckles can make eyeliner tattooing MUCH more challenging than working on young, smooth skin with less hooding.

So please don’t compare a result on mature, textured eyelids to a result on younger skin. The canvas is completely different.

This client wanted a bold, makeup-like look, and creating that on her hooded, mature eyelids took careful design and technique.

Every eye has its own challenges. Every eyeliner should be customized to the eyes—not copied from a picture.

For a newbie artist, brow mapping can be stressful. But honestly, even after years of experience, I still feel the same sometimes. 😂

When I map a really challenging set of brows, it can take me over 30 minutes. Sometimes I erase everything and literally think, “What the hell am I doing?” 😂

The truth is, don’t rush the process. Trust yourself. Keep figuring it out, and sometimes erase the map to start again. Eventually, it all comes together.
