I have two new clients growing out their natural hair and I am excited to help them through their journeys. It’s never too late or early to grow out white hair. If it’s time to start that journey for you, then that’s great!

Growing out any color that isn’t your natural hair color takes patience. But it’s worth it! Treatments, the right hair care and regular cuts help a lot.

March 2022.

In March of 2022 Erika came to me seeking advice on options to grow out her natural hair. Bleaching services and base shifting had been done to “blend her white hair”. As it faded between seasons the color, naturally, was yellow with a brassy base.

Erika did not want the following:
•keep bleaching
•monthly root touch up
•Crispy ends

Our solution was
•conditioning treatments
•haircuts
•tone out brassy tones. Keep the hair as neutral and natural looking as possible.
•toning mask at home.

Finally, growing out her hair. Sometimes sitting in a chair for 5-13 hours isn’t an option. We chose the healthiest way. Since March of this year this is our progress. We finally cut the length the previous visit. It’s great to see such positive outlook and excitement in her eyes every time I see Erika. Each time we are one appointment closer to the finish line!

Six plus inches came off this beautiful woman’s hair.

The NOU NOU mask was used to soften up her blonde and bring shine back.

LONG, HEALTHY & IT 🔥

I’ve been wanting to get out of my routine. I’ve been my kids mom for 3 & almost nine years. I am a selfless version of myself. A watered down mom version. I love being their mom and having them consume every last ounce of my being. But recently I’ve learned to set boundaries. I need to find myself again and make me the best version of me for them. Selfless; nonetheless ME.

Changing my hair feels like a large part of my journey. I want to feel edgy and feed my inner teenage dirtbag ahaha I’m not always this vulnerable.

This post is for all my beautiful moms out there who might feel the same. I’m here for you sisters 🙌🏽 you’re not alone.
