Being blonde is a commitment — but the right maintenance routine makes ALL the difference. 🤍

Here are a few things I always recommend to my blonde clients:

☀️ Stay on a maintenance schedule
Waiting until your blonde feels “too grown out” can make it harder to keep everything seamless. Most blondes benefit from a refresh every 6–10 weeks, depending on their color and goals.

🧴 Invest in professional products
Your shampoo, conditioner, and treatments matter! Blonde hair is more delicate, so moisture + strengthening products help protect your investment and keep your hair feeling healthy.

💜 Don’t overdo purple shampoo
Purple shampoo is great for neutralizing unwanted yellow tones, but more isn’t always better. Overusing it can leave your blonde looking dull, overly cool, or even slightly muddy. Your stylist can tell you how often YOUR hair needs it.

🔥 HEAT PROTECTANT. EVERY. TIME.
Heat damage can quickly turn beautiful blonde hair into dry, brittle ends. Always protect your hair before blow drying, curling, or straightening.

🚿 Watch your water + buildup
Hard water, minerals, chlorine, and product buildup can all affect blonde hair. If your blonde starts looking dull, brassy, or darker than usual, a professional clarifying treatment may be exactly what it needs.

✂️ And don’t forget your trims!
Healthy ends make your blonde look so much better. You can’t repair split ends permanently, but regular trims can keep your hair looking full, polished, and healthy.

Lucky 7 girls had the opportunity to be part of a Back to School Bash at family worship center giving haircuts to kids in our community. ✂️📚🤍

When I opened Lucky 7, I had a vision in my heart that I wanted us to always find ways to give back to our community, whatever that looked like. I prayed for a team of women with BIG hearts, women who would give freely, serve without hesitation, and love people simply because they can.

Watching these girls show up and pour their time, talent, and love into our community was such a beautiful reminder of why Lucky 7 became a thing. 🤍

Lucky 7 is so much more than a salon. It’s a family. It’s a place where we get to use the gifts God has given us to make someone else feel loved, confident, and cared for.

One of the biggest mistakes I see is waiting too long between appointments. Keeping up with regular maintenance helps your hair stay healthier, your color look fresher, and can even save you time and money in the long run.

✨ Haircuts: Every 6–12 weeks
Regular trims help prevent split ends from traveling up the hair shaft and keep your style looking fresh.

✨ Root Retouches: Every 4–6 weeks
Perfect for covering new growth before it becomes harder to blend.

✨ Toner Refreshes: Every 6–8 weeks
Toners fade over time. Refreshing yours keeps blondes bright, brunettes rich, and unwanted brassiness away.

✨ Extension Maintenance: Every 7–12weeks
Routine move-ups help protect your natural hair and keep your extensions looking seamless.

✨ Highlights: Every 5–12 weeks
Depending on how bright you like to stay, regular highlighting keeps your blonde looking dimensional and blended.

The beauty of lived-in color is the low maintenance! A few glosses or face-frame touch-ups in between can keep it looking its best.
