Getting your wig ready for the day doesn’t have to be complicated.

This is what I actually do before heading to work: put the wig on, adjust the part with my hair dryer, and use Boldify to help make the part look more natural.

It’s one of those little steps that can make a big difference in how the finished wig looks — especially when you’re wearing it all day.

Sometimes it’s not the wig that needs fixing. It’s the details. 🤷‍♀️

Sometimes you just need to put on the pink wig and have some fun. 💗😂

Gen X girls, we’ve spent enough years worrying about what we’re “supposed” to look like.

Wear the color. Try the wig. Have some fun with it.

If you wear wigs, you might be surprised how useful a simple Styrofoam wig head can be.

I don’t recommend these as your primary styling head, but they’re great for the things I find myself doing all the time:

✔️ Air-drying a wig after washing
✔️ Keeping the wig in shape while it dries
✔️ Setting up a wig for the next day or week
✔️ Temporary storage between wears
✔️ Light styling and adjustments

They’re inexpensive, lightweight, and easy to keep around—especially if you rotate through several wigs.

And remember: the right head depends on what you’re actually trying to do. For serious styling, I use a more secure styling head. For drying and keeping a wig ready to wear, this type works beautifully.

Even with a glueless wig, I sometimes need a little extra help because my head circumference measures petite. 🤷‍♀️

So this is my quick routine: a little Bold Hold to keep my wig secure, then Simply Styles Silicone Spray, my KISS brush, and a heat comb to get everything smooth, sleek, and polished.

Nothing complicated or time-consuming — just a few things that help me get the fit and finish I want. 💁‍♀️
