The second I saw these colors, I knew exactly where I wanted to take them.
One of my favorite things about being a nail artist is taking a handful of colors and seeing where my brain decides to go with them. ✨

Raining days bring out emotions and I love it, one of my girls and I ended up having one of those conversations that just sticks with you.
There’s almost 10 years between us, and we’re in completely different chapters of life, but somehow we were both standing there realizing the same thing:
We’re tired of feeling like we have something to prove.
And I found myself looking at her thinking about how proud I am of the growth we have done as a salon team. How much they’ve grown, how differently she sees herself, and how much she’s learning about what she actually wants from her life.
Then I realized… I’m proud of me too. (
That’s tough for me to say out loud.)
Because 10 years ahead of her doesn’t mean I have everything figured out. I’m still growing right alongside her. I’m still unlearning things. Still redefining what happiness and success look like for me.
Maybe success isn’t making enough money, accomplishing enough, or finally reaching some imaginary point where everyone can see that you “made it.”
Maybe it’s getting to a place where you stop living to prove yourself.
Where you can still be ambitious, still dream big, still want more for your life but not because you need anyone else to validate it.
I’m proud of my team’s growth.
And for the first time in a long time, I think I’m really proud of mine too. 🖤
We’re not trying to prove that we’re successful anymore.
We’re learning how to actually live.

I am opening 2 days in October for Halloween nails but
I’m looking for a FEW people who are ready to give me FULL creative freedom.
Here’s the deal:
You must be open to a 3-hour appointment and let me completely take the reins creatively. 🖤 Come in, sit down, and let me create whatever I’m inspired to create on your nails. Of course open to themes of your own.
BUT there’s a little twist…
Since I’m no longer accepting new clients, this would be a one-time appointment with me.
After that, I’d love to pair you with one of our New Talent nail artists for your next appointment. I’ll personally mentor them through the process, help with your nail plan, and be there to guide them every step of the way.
So you’re not just getting a set from me, you’re helping me pour what I know into Albuquerque, New Mexicos nail artists at Albuquerque Alternative Nail Salon 🥀
