14 years behind the chair and this chapter has taught me how much the systems behind the service matter. 💙

Apex started as an appointment-only salon. Then we had five people walking in a day, and we couldn’t accommodate them. Turning clients away meant lost income—and growing pains sometimes affected the experience we wanted to give.

As we grew, ChairWatch grew with us. We shared what our salon needed and worked together on a smoother experience: uploading inspo before appointments, faster check-in and checkout (especially for our new walk in guests), and keeping client communication off our techs’ personal phones.

Getting to share that experience onstage in Chicago meant a lot.
