A little personal update from behind the scenes at Acworth Permanent Cosmetics. ❤️

I recently received the results of a breast biopsy and was diagnosed with low-grade invasive ductal carcinoma.

Thankfully, I have a plan moving forward. My next step is an MRI followed by surgery, and I’ll know more as I move through that process.

For my clients — I am still here, still working, and Acworth Permanent Cosmetics is absolutely still open for business. I fully intend to continue doing what I love and taking care of my clients throughout this. If I need to make any adjustments to my schedule around surgery or recovery, anyone affected will hear directly from me.

One year healed brows + a little something new ✨

Her brows are officially one year healed and still looking soft, natural and beautifully defined. Today, we added a subtle lash-line enhancement to give her eyes just enough definition without the look of heavy eyeliner.

Every hairstroke was mapped by hand to follow a believable growth pattern, build fullness where she needed it, and create structure without sacrificing softness.

Neutralizing old pigment is not the same as removing it—and not every set of previously tattooed brows can be corrected.

I turn away close to 90% of the correction cases I assess. If the existing pigment is too dark, too saturated, implanted too deeply, or falls outside the new shape, adding more pigment only adds another layer to the problem. In those cases, laser lightening or removal will always be my number-one recommendation.

This client was one of the exceptions. Her old pigment had faded enough, her skin was healthy, and the existing placement allowed me to neutralize the cool tones and rebuild her brows with crisp nano hairstrokes.

I will never promise a cover-up simply to book an appointment. Sometimes the most skilled—and honest—recommendation is to remove first.
