A good portion of my day today is bringing Josh to the Atlanta SCAD Animation Fest… how stinking cool?!?
Spending time with my almost adult, getting in the college mindset, exposing him to the industry he wants to be in, other college kids, industry professionals, showings, panels, competitions, etc… BUT most importantly…. Joining him in exploring HIS WORLD….
I think sometimes we want for our children to have everything good in life that we forget this is THEIR life to design!
I introduced him to art and creativity early with museums and expos and artist knowledge (yes it is something i have always loved) and who knew it would fuel his passion someday?
These experiences mean everything to me… but what is even more special is the gratitude he shows me.
“Mom, thank you for doing this with me. I want you to know I appreciate it so much, i know you could have been working and that it cost money to go but i am grateful!”
Like how lucky am I??? What a kid to have!!!
