Whose got my back.....Emily Achiel huge shout out to this very talented stylist. She's not just my assistant, she independently takes clients. Licensed in Florida and Texas, brought here by none other than Dyess Air Force Base. She's not new to hair. Shes new to Abilene. Emily popped into Looking Chic one day. We decided to give each other a chance and I'm so so grateful!! She was instrumental in the opening of my salon, literally weathered the storm with me and has been a constant I can count on. I had been in my new salon a little over a month. I hadn't even really had the chance to post any pictures of it. I finally put the finishing touchest on it last week, then this happened last night. Part of the roof is caved in on the tenets to my left and right. When I left last night my roof was starting to sag and everything was covered in water.
I don't know if or when I'll reopen. I think I'm just still in shock. This was a lot of work and I don't know that I'm ready to do it all over again.
I'm currently looking for another salon to work at and hope to be resuming business in a couple of days. I will be reaching out to reschedule appointments. ❤️❤️
