Sheabutter

We are a team of local Ugandan social enterprises from the Shea belt of Northern Uganda where the Nilotica Shea nut tree is native. We wholesale and retail Grade A Shea butter. For a long time,Ugandan Shea butter selling has been in the hands of foreign entrepreneurs, they have bought Shea butter from us and sold it at a higher price. We the locals have benefited not so much from such.so we have come together to end middleman ship.So customers can buy directly from us.This will make us the local communities benefit and also the customer and end user will benefit greatly! So by buying our Shea butter, you are helping a whole community benefit!-Not only one greedy middle man. Also, the Shea butter tree is under threat of extinction due to charcoal burning. Many farmers in our villages have not been benefiting from Shea butter sales so many resorted to cutting down trees for making of charcoal which brought in more income than the sale of Shea butter nuts.So now we are changing that!-We want to save our Shea butter trees!
