At Hammam Zanzibar, a spa treatment is a complete experience, inspired by centuries-old traditions and made even more special by being right here in the heart of Stone Town. Warm steam, gentle rituals, skilled hands, and time set aside just for yourself come together to create something truly unique in Zanzibar.
We are proud to use natural products from Zuri Rituals throughout our treatments, carefully made with ingredients inspired by the island itself. If you fall in love with the products during your visit, they are also available to purchase, so you can take a little piece of the experience home with you.
Just around the corner from Hammam Zanzibar, you’ll find one of Stone Town’s most recognisable landmarks — St. Joseph’s Cathedral.
Built in the late 19th century, the cathedral has been part of the Old Town’s landscape for generations, with its distinctive twin towers rising above the surrounding streets.
We love being located so close to it. A visit to the hammam can easily become part of a day spent exploring this part of Stone Town. Wandering through the old streets, stopping for a coffee, discovering little shops and cafés, and taking in the mix of history and everyday life around you.
