Some skincare habits deserve a spot in the Burn Book.
Picking pimples can increase inflammation and raise the risk of scarring and dark spots. Skipping sunscreen leaves your skin vulnerable to UV damage, while toothpaste can irritate acne-prone skin rather than treat it.
If a mole changes in size, shape, or colour, or begins to itch or bleed, it’s important to have it evaluated by a dermatologist. And if you wear makeup with acne, choose non-comedogenic products and remove your makeup before bed.
