A good start in Klaipėda for MAT 11 Hull 3, Arabela.

Arabela finished 1st in ORC Class C at the ORC European Championship Prologue Race, held as part of the 59th Curonian Lagoon Regatta.

A valuable test ahead of the ORC European Championship in August. Congratulations to Raimondas Šiugždinis and the entire Arabela team.

MAT 1220 Pure of Lars Hidde is now German Offshore Champion 🏆🇩🇪

Pure Sailing Team have just delivered an outstanding week on the water, taking on two offshore races and the legendary Rund Skagen. Finishing the series with scores of 2-1-3 overall, the team claimed the championship with style!

MAT 11 is 2026 ORC World Champion

Organised by the Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia in collaboration with the Yacht Club Italiano and the Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia, in partnership with the Offshore Racing Congress and supported by Rolex and Loro Piana, the 2026 ORC World Championship once again confirmed itself as one of the most prestigious events in international sailing, combining world-class competition with the unique settings of Naples and Sorrento.

In Class C, the world title went to MAT 11 - Robe da Mat, owned by Luigi Buzzi, and skippered by Joan Navarro Guiu with Peter Buhl at the helm.

"We are naturally absolutely delighted with this victory,” said Peter Buhl and Joan Navarro Guiu “The credit for this success goes first and foremost to an extraordinary crew. In every position, we had the best people we could possibly wish for. We are also very proud of the work that was done on the boat. Throughout the championship, we raced in a wide variety of conditions, from light airs to stronger winds, and the boat proved to be extremely competitive in every situation. In winds above 10 knots, we performed at our very best, and today the boat sailed exceptionally well. All our competitors raced at a very high level, and the competition was extremely intense, but we knew we could rely on a fast boat and a highly experienced team. This title is the result of an outstanding team effort and meticulous preparation in every respect.”

With Peter Buhl and Joan Navarro Guiu winning the ORC Class C Worlds title 2026 are Jakub Marciniak, Mads Christian Horsted Taatø, Karlo Hmeljak, Tomislav Basic, Jesper Haumann and Piotr Przybylski.

With two more days to go! Today's coastal race is up next, followed by the inshore races tomorrow.

M.A.T. 11 is on the move.

The first M.A.T. 11 has now left the yard and is on her way to Italy.
Her racing debut will take place at the ORC World Championship in Sorrento this May, where she will be campaigned by the team.
From the design office to the racecourse, the journey of the M.A.T. 11 begins.

The new ORC racer–cruiser.

Designed to compete at the top of ORC Class C, the M.A.T. 11 combines pure racing performance with the versatility of a modern performance cruiser.
Optimized primarily for ORC (with IRC as an option), she is built to be fast, precise and competitive on inshore windward–leeward courses, while remaining capable offshore up to 600 NM and certified for ISO Category A passages.
Designed by Matteo Polli, her sleek hull lines and aerodynamic deck layout are engineered for efficiency and control, whether sailed with a full racing crew of 7–8 or in double-handed configuration.
From the flush foredeck to the ergonomic cockpit with interchangeable wheels or tiller, every element is designed to maximize efficiency, speed and control.

The first hull is now completed.
