The short answer: most people are not actually gaining large amounts of muscle.
What is happening is a combination of temporary inflammation, a fat layer that has not shifted yet, water retention and sometimes eating more to support training. The muscle is working. The problem is whatβs sitting above it.
But here is what we really want to address: the wrong treatment makes this significantly worse β in ways that are not immediately obvious. We have seen clients arrive with swollen, puffy thighs after treatments elsewhere.
