Dr. Sylvia also completed a specialized Physician Training and Certification in Age Management Medicine, jointly sponsored by Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation (CERF) and the Foundation for Care Management (FCM), USA and has been certified in Age Management Medicine by the Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation (AMMERF), USA. Today, while serving as the Medical and Scientific Director of Cutis, she is also the Medical Director Asia Pacific of one of the largest dialysis companies in the world with a role of improving quality of care in centers across the 5 countries of Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, India and China.

Our Dr. Sylvia joined Aesthetics in Singapore to speak to a new cohort of Allergan Medical Institute trainers, the doctors who will teach and mentor the next generation of injectors.
Her session went back to first principles: what actually happens between the vial and the biological effect. How a neurotoxin is made and stabilized, why a "unit" is not a universal measure, and what long-term data tell us about safety and consistency over years of treatment.
The message that stayed with the room was about mindset, not molecules. A trainer shapes how others practice, so the standard has to be higher: the curiosity to keep asking questions, the discipline to check the data yourself, and precision in every step, with the patient at the center of every decision.
