I would like to announce the end of Sabunbyriza's journey. Thank you very much for all your support and trust in my sabun creations. I am happy that my sabuns have helped a lot of people in their relieve from some skin conditions.

I am venturing into yet another journey of sharing knowledge. Inspiring muslimahs to take time to care for their spiritual, emotional and physical health.

Sabun by Riza is still a baby, established in September 2017.

Every product is designed, made and packaged by the same two hands.

It’s not just business, it’s personal.

I believe the best reason to use handmade soap is the ingredients. Typically handmade soap is made of vegetable oils and butters that are rich in antioxidants, vitamins and nutrients that are essential to healthy skin.

Handmade soap retains all of its natural glycerin glory and produces a rich and luxurious lather that is unparalleled to any other. There is a problem with most glycerin though. Unless otherwise specified, most glycerin is produced using animal fat (its much cheaper to produce using animal fat and you get a lot extracting them out from animal fat as compared to vegetable oils).

So for those who are purchasing anything with glycerin in it (soaps, skincare etc) make sure your glycerin is vegetable glycerin and not just 'glycerin' as it may or may not be vegan.
