One special color that can be done without bleaching is our Dark Purple. Usually for 1-tone color choices, it falls under the more common colors like browns or reds. However, as we use a strong color booster for the purple, it allows the pigment to be absorbed more easily by the hair. Naturally, without bleaching, it will be of a darker shade but honestly, it's very cool to be walking around with a dark purple hair! 😎

Underlight?! Isn't that a balayage instead? Haha. That's the exciting part! Take a closer look at the color transition area in the middle. You're looking at the outer layer and the inner layer instead of the entire strand of hair with 2 colors. This is a bold style where almost half of the outer layer of the hair was trimmed and the inner layer was bleached to an ash beige. From a distance, to be honest, it really looks like a balayage but I must admit it's truly very cool! 😎

Facts: 90% of our hair is made up of protein (keratin), and before that, we also require collagen because collagen is a type of structural protein that the body needs to produce keratin.
