Mu En loves the natural style of makeup - especially Korean-inspired straight eyebrows and straight eyeliner, with radiant, glowing and moistful skin. Makeup and hair transformation for Amber.
Amber has a naturally defined jawline, which gives her features a stronger, edgier look. For her hair, I wanted to make the most of her hush cut. Rather than adding curls, which would make the overall look feel cuter, I styled soft curves to balance her jawline while keeping that slight edge.
She’s warm-toned, so I chose muted burnt orange shades to bring warmth to her complexion, and muted colour palettes just give off that chic vibeee.
The result is a look that feels polished, modern, and still very much like her.

Prewedding shoot with Felicia & Gideon.
The concept was a vintage styled prewedding shoot at Maggie’s with Daniel & Cheryl • Destination Wedding Film Photographer
Knowing that flash is likely to be used for this shoot since it’s indoor, I did some test shots with flash when I completed the makeup & added a little more blush and contour to make sure it shows up.
I also designed the blush placement to shorten her mid face and a little blush on the chin to visually shorten the jaw - to help balance out her proportions more.
When I design a bridal look, there are many elements like dress colour, style, longevity, concept of shoot that I consider and discuss so it would fit into the concept + complement YOUR individual features.
Can’t believe that these were sitting at my photo album and I totally forgot about it! One of my favsss.

I’ve been obsessed with this vibe. The intellectual chic, the ‘unnie’ big sis vibe that has her life all together.
It’s giving she always knows what to do energy.
📝 Take notes for this look:
▫️Clean and radiant base
▫️Contouring muted blush shade at the outer area of the face (near cheekbones)
▫️Highlighted and bright in the center of the face
▫️Eyes smudged soft liner, definition is more on the lower eyelid, in a medium tones in a big area, rather than dark colours just at waterline.
▫️Matte aegyo sal, goal is not to look cute but to expand the eye size downwards
▫️Lashes that are almost same length as her natural ones, just a little more volume.
▫️Muted lips
Used mostly teracotta/ earth tones for this look.
