Yes, L-shaped (or L-curl) lash lifts and extensions are specifically designed to create the illusion of winged eyeliner by mimicking a sharp, upward flick.
This technique is popular for providing a bold, defined, and lifted look without the need for daily makeup application.
Here is how the L-shaped lift creates this effect:
Unique Shape: Unlike traditional C or D curls that are rounded, L-curl lashes have a flat base that extends straight out from the lid before angling sharply upward.
The "Wing" Effect: Because the base is flat and the lift is abrupt, it creates a crisp, angular, winged-liner appearance, particularly on the outer corners of the eyes.
L-curl is considered a game-changer for hooded, deep-set, or downward-growing lashes because it lifts the lashes away from the lid, preventing them from touching the brow bone.
