🇬🇧 Suggested by a lovely patient, I thought I’d briefly introduce the “me” you don’t usually see. Aside from plastic surgery, my great devotion is figurative sculpture (I’ve actually started selling a few of my pieces!). Otherwise, my heart belongs to the ocean, whether I’m sailing or surfing. I love surrounding myself with people who feel truly alive and don’t take things too seriously.

Fora do bloco operatório ou do estúdio, o meu coração pertence ao Oceano, quer a bordo do meu veleiro, quer a fazer surf. Gosto de me rodear de pessoas que vivem a vida intensamente e que não levam as coisas demasiado a sério.

The passion that drives me in the pursuit of beauty in my sculptures matches the obsession that drives me in the operating room. I am the same person with the same principles in the sculpture atelier and in the operating room during surgeries. I am always the artist as I am always the surgeon.
While clay never changes and is predictable, the human body is complex and I am never in full control. But I give all that I have in both settings and I am proud of all my works because they are all created with the same dedication (without exceptions).

After the holidays, I am preparing to return to my creative work, fully recharged.
