Polygel Nail Extension

is a hybrid nail enhancement material that combines the strength of acrylics with the flexibility of hard gels. It comes in a thick, toothpaste-like tube and does not dry until you cure it under an LED or UV lamp.

What is Polygel?

• Texture: Thick and moldable, meaning it will not run or drip like liquid builder gel.
• Formula: A mix of acrylic powder and clear gel.
• Odor: Generally odorless, unlike traditional acrylic systems that require strong-smelling monomer liquids.
• Workability: Stays soft until cured, giving you unlimited time to shape your nails.

How to Apply Polygel

1. Prep the nail: Clean your hands, push back cuticles, and lightly buff the nail surface to remove shine.

2. Base coat: Apply a thin layer of base coat and cure it under an LED or UV lamp for about 60 seconds.

3. Shape with slip solution: Scoop a bead of polygel onto a dual form or your nail, dip your brush in a slip solution (or isopropyl alcohol), and pat the gel into place.

4. Cure: Press the form onto the nail and cure under your nail lamp.

5. Finish: Pop off the dual form, file the nail to your desired shape, and seal with a top coat.
