Potential risks and complications of diagnostic testing mandate that proper test protocols, interfering factors, follow-up testing, and collaboration among those involved in the testing process be a significant part of the information included in this manual. The laboratory has infused into the minds of personnel the value of efficient and quality work as well as integrity. This manual does not violate any rules or regulations of the Department of Health. Instead, when scrupulously followed, puts the laboratory on guard at all times. It is not with our conscience to tolerate any form of malpractice, negligence or simple carelessness. We will not allow the integrity of our laboratory to be compromised by the imprudence of any member of our laboratory personnel. Should a time come that our reports is questioned or challenged, we will be confident because we are cautious, prudent and precise in our procedures.
