From Manila to Bali — we went as a barbershop brand. We came back as WINNERS!!!

This is the full story of Tipuno X's historic trip to the Bali Barber Expo 2026. Watch as our team of Filipino barbers took on the world's best, competed on an international stage, and proved that Philippine barbering belongs at the top. We also got matching "X" tattoos in Bali — because some moments deserve to be marked forever.

WHAT YOU'LL WATCH:

Before the blades came out, Bali called. Day 1 and 2 are raw, real, and full of life — the streets, the culture, the food, the people. We soaked in everything this island had to offer before the competition floor opened its doors.

Then came Days 3 and 4. The Bali Barber Expo 2026. International competitors. World-class live demos. The energy of a global barbering community gathered in one place. And in the middle of it all — a team of Filipinos from a container barbershop in the Philippines, cutting with everything they had.

The results? History.

Balong took 1st Runner Up in the Creative Category. Dancel earned 2nd Runner Up in the Creative Category. Team Philippines finished 2nd Runner Up in the Tag Team Category. And JC Rocamora, who placed Top 7, won something harder to rank: the hearts of every barber in that building.

On Day 5, we flew home. Different people than the ones who left. Sharper. More certain of who we are.

This is not just a competition recap. This is a brand finding its place in the world.

Day 5. PHILIPPINES, LET'S GO!!!

We are on the way home.

And this is not the feeling of a trip ending. This is the feeling of a team coming back from battle. We went out. We showed up. We competed. We learned. We represented this country at the Bali Barber Expo 2026, in a room full of the best barbers on the planet, and we did not shrink.

Balong. Dancel. JC Rocamora. Symon. Brix and Chad.

These three went out there as Filipino barbers and reminded the entire world what this country is made of. Podium finishes. Hearts won. A moment for Philippine barbering that will not be forgotten. We carry those results home with us today. Not just as trophies, but as proof.

Proof that Filipino barbers can compete globally.
Proof that Tipuno X is building the right people.
Proof that this mission, rooted in faith and built in a container barbershop, is worth every single sacrifice.

Bali gave us inspiration, connections, and a fire we did not even know needed more fuel. We absorbed the best techniques in the world. We built relationships with barbers and brands from across Asia. We watched the industry at its highest level and we came away knowing exactly where we are going.

Now we bring it all home to the Philippines.

To our branches. To every barber we train. To the 400 branches still on the way. To every Filipino who dares to dream bigger than the block they grew up on.
