This is something I’m still learning….

Sometimes people will only see the decision you made but not the nights you prayed before making it.

People may notice your achievements,
your service,
your silence,
your generosity, or even your mistakes.

They’ll see the boundaries but not the healing behind them.

They’ll see the silence but not the strength it took not to react.

They’ll see the service but not the exhaustion you carried while still showing up.

They’ll see the outcome but not the tears, surrender, and conversations you had with God.

And if I’m honest, there were seasons when being misunderstood hurt me deeply.

I wanted people to know my intentions.
I wanted to explain myself.
I wanted to prove that my heart was in the right place.

But little by little, God has been teaching me this:

Not everything has to be defended.
Not every good intention will be understood.
And not every unseen sacrifice is unnoticed.

Because while people can only see the outside,
God sees the heart.

And maybe that’s why the word “WHY” feels so deep.

Because purpose lives there.

God does not only see what you did,
He sees what led you there.

He sees the prayers behind the decision.
The healing behind the boundaries.
The obedience behind the sacrifice.
The love behind the service.

He sees when you tried.
He sees when you chose kindness even when you were hurting.
He sees when you stayed faithful even when nobody clapped.
He sees when you obeyed Him and it cost you something.

So if you’re tired of being misunderstood,
please keep choosing what pleases the Lord.
Keep showing up.
Keep being genuine.

You do not have to spend your whole life proving yourself to people.

Because you are not living to be fully understood by everyone.

You are living to be faithful to the One who sees everything.

People see what you do.
God sees why you do it.

…and what God sees matters the most.

“People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
— 1 Samuel 16:7

🪴CTTO The Unshaken

Never RESIST the season where God is humbling you.

Walk the road that is meant to humble you, even when it is difficult.

Whether God:

- did not give you exactly what you wanted
- corrected or disciplined you
- pruned you or asked you to let go of things that mattered deeply to you
- slowed you down when you wanted to move ahead

Don’t despise that season.

Because in those moments, the Lord is doing a deep work in your life.

Hindi na ito tungkol sa mga earthly things na gusto mo; patungkol na ito sa puso mo.

When God begins to humble you, He is no longer just dealing with your circumstances but He is dealing with your character.

Because those humbling seasons remind us that what matters most to God is not only our success and happiness, but also our holiness.

Our personal relationship with Him.
Our relationship with other people.
The condition of our hearts and minds.

So…

Accept His discipline.
Accept His correction.
Accept His “no” and His “not yet.”

God humbles us not to break us, but to shape us into the people He has called us to be… the best and holiest version of ourselves.

“Anong tinatanggal mo para maging malaya ako?”
