Ayon sa mga awtoridad, aksidenteng pumasok sa silid-aralan ang arrow mula sa kapwa 15-anyos na archery athlete na nagsasanay sa labas ng classroom ng biktima.

Isang 15-anyos na estudyante ang tinamaan ng arrow sa kaliwang bahagi ng leeg sa Salinungan National High School sa San Mateo, Isabela nitong Martes, August 11.

Ayon sa Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council ng San Mateo, nagsasanay ng archery ang isa pang 15-anyos na atleta sa labas ng classroom nang hindi umano inaasahang dumiretso sa loob ng silid-aralan ang kaniyang pinakawalang pana at tumama sa biktima.

Nananatili sa ospital ang biktima at patuloy na inoobserbahan ang kaniyang kalagayan.

Tumanggi muna na maglabas ng pahayag ang Department of Education (DepEd)-Isabela kaugnay ng pangyayari.
