November 17, 2025: Graduation of Alagang Ina and Malusog Na Bata was held today.

This initiative is a proof that in Municipality of Quezon thereโ€™s a good governance, passion and collective efforts. The programs has been successful, provided them health and nutrition education, food packs and hygiene kits to 64 beneficiaries of Alagang Ina and 80 beneficiaries of Malusog Na Bata.

Every journey thereโ€™s an ending. But, in LGU Quezon, itโ€™s more on continuous dedication, hard work and a heart of giving quality services to every Quezonian.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our Hon. Mayor Dean Joson, Hon. Vice Mayor Josie Joson, Hon. Municipal Councilor on Health Patrick Del Rosario, SB Members, MNC Members, RHU Staffs headed by Dra. Kathrina Angela Esquivel,Barangay Captains, BHWs/BNSs, and to people of Quezon for collective support in every implementation of Nutrition Programs.

โ€œWe will not end up working with, we will not get tired, and we will not let anyone left behind in fighting for the healthier Community of Quezon.โ€

November 13, 2025: Alagang Ina 2025 and Malusog Na Bata continue its purposes of providing health and nutrition education that empowers beneficiaries to make informed choices about their well-being.

RMT Victor Dave Joson discussed laboratories or the maternal package for pregnant mothers. This package includes Urinalysis, CBC, Blood Typing, VDRL Tests,
Hepa B Screening and HIV Testing. This is to ensure a healthy mother and a healthy baby by providing a comprehensive, coordinated system of care that reduces maternal and infant morbidity and mortality.

Sanitation Inspector II Malene Ventura imparted knowledge on the importance of Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). WASH are interconnected practices essential for human health, dignity, and well-being, encompassing access to safe drinking water, proper sanitation facilities, and hygiene habits like handwashing.

She also discussed dengueโ€” a mosquito-borne viral disease with symptoms ranging from mild to severe, including high fever, headache, muscle and joint pain, and rash. The "4S" of dengue, promoted by the Department of Health (DOH), are strategies to combat dengue fever: Search and destroy mosquito breeding sites; Self-protect against mosquito bites; Seek early consultation for symptoms; and Support fogging only in identified hotspot areas during outbreaks.
