Several homes in Glan, Sarangani were washed away after rivers overflowed due to continuous heavy rainfall that battered the area. The swollen river currents rapidly eroded riverbanks, causing houses situated near the water to collapse and be carried downstream.
Local authorities continue to monitor the situation as persistent rains increase the risk of further flooding and landslides. Residents living in low-lying and riverside communities have been urged to remain vigilant, follow evacuation advisories, and prioritize their safety as weather conditions remain unstable.
