𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐁𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐇𝐃𝐀𝐘, 𝐂𝐃𝐓 𝐂𝐏𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐔 𝐑 𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂) 𝟏𝐂𝐋 🥳

ROTC-IN-ACTION | The Southern Mindanao Colleges ROTC Unit participated in the annual International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) 2026, anchored on the theme, “Clean Seas for Resilient Communities,” held at Barangay White Beach, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur, on Saturday, September 19, 2026.

Beyond the collection of waste, the activity highlighted the importance of discipline, teamwork, and community service in protecting our coastal environment. Through active participation and collective action, ROTC cadets demonstrated that service goes beyond formation—it extends to caring for our communities and preserving our seas for present and future generations. 🇵🇭🌊

MANUAL OF ARMS | Before the sun rises and the heat of the day sets in, ROTC cadets take on an early-morning drill focused on the Manual of Arms, sharpening their discipline, precision, and coordination.

The movements were demonstrated by CDT 2CL JOHN VHEL C SARONA and guided by fellow ROTC Cadet Officers, providing proper instruction and leadership throughout the training.

Through consistent practice and guidance, the Southern Mindanao Colleges ROTC cadets continue to strengthen their discipline, confidence, teamwork, and attention to detail—one movement, one command, and one formation at a time. 🇵🇭

From disciplined ranks to energetic dance moves, the Southern Mindanao Colleges ROTC Unit shifted from mass formation to the Zumba dance floor, bringing energy, camaraderie, and fun into their training routine.

The activity promoted physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and unity, proving that ROTC is not only about drills and formations—it is also about building strong bonds and keeping the cadets active and motivated.
