Every December 30, Olongapo City comes alive in a way that feels both familiar and deeply meaningful. Held on Rizal Day, the city fiesta carries both local and national importance. The date was established during the American period as part of an effort to encourage a more inclusive and civic-centered celebration, allowing people of different backgrounds and beliefs to participate together. Over time, December 30 became more than just a date on the calendar; it evolved into a symbol of unity and collective pride for Olongapeños.

Throughout the day, the city becomes a stage for culture and creativity.
