Have you ever wondered how much water is consumed by a single AI prompt?

Although AI operates digitally, it still requires physical resources. Data centers use water for cooling, and according to the Environmental and Energy Study Institute (EESI, 2025), researchers from the University of California, Riverside estimated that a 100-word AI prompt may consume around 519 mL of water, roughly the amount in one standard water bottle. This is only an estimate and can vary depending on the AI model and data center.

As we celebrate the Season of Creation, let us be mindful of our digital habits and our responsibility to care for our common home.

Our environment provides us with everything we need to live, yet it is often affected by pollution, waste, deforestation, and other human activities. This season reminds us that protecting creation is not only a responsibility but also a way of showing care for our environment.

‎Today, we remember the 𝟓𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐰. It was a time when democracy and basic human rights were taken from the Filipino people.

‎Martial Law was one of the darkest times in Philippine history. The people were silenced and justice was ignored, yet the Filipino people kept their hope alive through courage and faith.

In view of the suspension of face-to-face classes in both public and private schools as announced by the City Government of Manila due to anticipated gatherings, marches, and other activities in various parts of the city in observance of the 54𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝘄, classes will shift to 𝗦𝗬𝗡𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗦 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄, 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, September 21, 2026.

All students are advised to:

HAPPENING NOW: The Student Coordinating Board (SCB) is currently conducting a meeting to advocate to the youth about the important events that happened during Martial Law.

​In line with our upcoming creative monument at the quadrangle grounds, we stand to never forget our history, learn the truth about Martial Law, and be vocal about it to educate others and raise awareness.
