The Department of Health in Northern Mindanao (DOH X) launched the Northern Mindanao Road Safety Action Plan (NMRSAP) on July 14 to reduce road traffic deaths in the region by 2030.

The plan supports the Department of Health’s Eight Priority Health Outcomes, advancing President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive to strengthen the implementation of the Universal Health Care Act by improving health systems, preventing avoidable injuries and deaths, and expanding access to emergency and post-crash care.
