🌱🌳 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐢 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐆𝐀𝐏)

Nakiisa ang 93 participants, kabilang ang 36 Simbag members, sa Training on Pest Control and Disease Management of Pili Trees and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) noong August 14, 2026 sa Sto. Niño Covered Court, Bacon District, Sorsogon City.

Layunin ng training na dagdagan ang kaalaman at skills ng ating mga pili farmers sa pagkilala at tamang pag-manage ng mga pests at diseases na nakakaapekto sa pili trees. Itinaguyod din nito ang Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) para sa mas healthy na puno, better productivity, quality produce, at mas sustainable na farming practices.

Maraming salamat kay Mr. Ronilo Dela Peña, Agriculturist II and HVCDP Coordinator, sa pagbabahagi ng kanyang kaalaman at expertise. Salamat din sa City Agriculture Office of Sorsogon City, Barangay Council of Sto. Niño, at sa lahat ng SEDP-Simbag members na nakiisa at aktibong nakibahagi sa training.
