Maya is loved by many and has friends from different nationalities. You know why? Because she’s witty, friendly, generous, and she knows how to treat people with kindness. 🤍

And just to be clear, this birthday party wasn’t for everyone. Out of the whole class, only 2 girls were invited, and Maya was one of them. 😊

So hearing a sarcastic comment like, “Oh, yung anak mo lang naiiba ang kulay ng hair,” from a Filipina nanny, like sabi ko “Sinong amo mo? Hindi maganda ugali mo.

Children should never be made to feel “different” in a negative way just because they stand out. My daughter is confident, loved, and happy and no unnecessary comment can change that. 💅✨
