I was not suppose to post my recent finish in ironman 70.3 in cebu due to recent loss of tatay max, my close friend and a daughter of my friend... but i realized that every finish deserves a celebration of life... being thankful to be able to do what we do and to do it in the name of our Lord God... I dedicate this finish to them...

It had been a tough week for me .. i lost a close friend, a family member and a young girl in my service... People think that doctors are numb to death... No.. we take it personally... every lost makes us question ourselves, our capabilities, sometimes our faith... But life goes on and believe that everyday we are in a position to cure, to help alleviate pain, to improve the quality of life, to extend life so that people can live out their lives to the fullest.. that is what keeps me going...

As doctors... We win a lot of battles... but we will never win the war... Thats why we trust it to God to win the war of life for us...

To the family and friends who have lost their love ones... my prayers are with you
